Over $10K Donated Towards New Mammography System

Holiday cheer continues to spread for the Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA).

The foundation has accepted a $10,500 donation from the CKHA Helping Hands Auxiliary.

"This generous donation... was made possible through various fundraising initiatives coordinated by the auxiliary throughout the year, including proceeds from the Boutique Grand Gift Shop located within the Chatham hospital campus," the foundation said a media release.

The donation is in support of the foundation's annual Christmas Wish Tree campaign, where funds raised will go towards a new mammography system.

“We are thrilled to make this contribution that will enhance the quality of health care for the women of our community,” said JoAn Dale, chair of the CKHA Helping Hands Auxiliary.

As stated in a media release, over $5.5-million has been raised for the Christmas Wish Tree campaign so far.
