GINCOR Sees Tremendous Potential In Its New Blenheim Plant

The president of GINCOR is publicly announcing on Friday that it has bought the Cross Country Trailers plant in Blenheim.

The company is currently updating and broadening its branding to be known as GINCOR TRUCK & TRAILER WERX.

“We see tremendous opportunity in this facility and the workforce made up of people from a great community," says Luc Stang, President and CEO. "We plan to maintain jobs, invest in the site, and to actually increase the workforce as we bring Cross Country into the GINCOR family.”

“We know there has been some uncertainty for the community, and we look forward to moving ahead together and creating a new success story for the men and women that make up the team here [in Blenheim],” says Stang.

GINCOR says it has a proven 40 year track record of success, growth, and providing a safe and equitable work environments. It began with a single facility four decades ago in Mattawa, Ontario, just outside of North Bay and are known for high-quality dump vehicles, snow plows, and other severe service equipment like cranes and pup trailers.

GINCOR has been ranked one of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies three years in a row with PROFIT 500 and staff numbers have grown from 40 people to almost 500 with the purchase of the Blenheim plant.

The company has also bought up several locations over the last few years to give it a coast-to-coast presence.
