Man Charged For Going 210 km/h On Hwy. 401November 27, 2017 9:06am
Driving on Hwy. 401 with a lead foot didn’t turn out well for a man from the greater Toronto area.
Chatham-Kent OPP say officers they stopped an eastbound vehicle on the highway near Duart Rd. at around 11:30pm on November 24 after officers clocked it going 210 km/h. During a search of the vehicle, police say officers found 10 grams of marijuana.
A 22-year-old Etobicoke man has been charged with drug possession, racing a vehicle, and driving a vehicle without a licence. In addition to the charges, the driver’s vehicle was impounded for seven days.
He’s set to appear in court January 11, 2018.
