Another Flood Watch Issued In CKNovember 14, 2017 3:48pm
The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority has issued another flood watch for the Lake Erie shoreline.
Conservation officials say strong winds on Wednesday will cause high waves similar to those that caused flooding earlier this year along Erie Shore Dr. in Chatham-Kent. The LTVCA says there is a risk that wave action could damage the shoreline and cause erosion.
The conservation authority says people, pets, and livestock should avoid the shoreline.
The flood watch is in effect until Thursday. The LTVCA is warning that similar conditions could appear late Friday and Saturday and next Monday.
