A Chatham man has been arrested for public intoxication.

Police say on Saturday at 4pm, a 62-year-old Chatham man was arrested on Harvey St. in Chatham for public intoxication.

Police say he was later released from custody.

Chatham-Kent police have made an arrest after receiving several calls about a man passed out in his car.

Police say on Friday at around 6pm, police responded to man who appeared to be passed out in the driver’s seat of his vehicle in Downtown Chatham.

According to police, the man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs.

Police say he was released with a future court date.

A Chatham man has been arrested after allegedly throwing a pop can at a motel clerk.

Police say on Friday at around 6:30pm, a 40-year-old Chatham man was arrested for assault at Super 8 Motel on Michener Rd. in Chatham.

Police say the man was accused of throwing a pop can at the clerk.

He was held for a bail hearing.

A Chatham man has been arrested for allegedly driving his car while under the influence of drugs.

On Friday at around 9pm, police say they received several tips about an impaired driver with a flat tire on Grand Ave. E in Chatham.

Police say they stopped the driver and determined the man was under the influence of a drug.

A 25-year-old Chatham man was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and was released with a future court date.
