Chatham-Kent police are investigating after several combat swords were stolen from a storage unit.

Police say on Friday, unknown suspects cut a fence into a locked compound on Richmond St. in Chatham. The suspects then cut the locks off some storage units. According to police, the suspects stole a dining room table and several combat swords.

Chatham-Kent police are investigating two break and enters in Blenheim.

Police say on Friday, an unknown suspect cut through the screen of a home’s kitchen window on Ellen St. in Blenheim and stole a purse. Several pieces of identification and credit cards were inside the purse.

That same night in Blenheim, suspects stole tools from a garage on Talbot St. Stolen items include a Mikita Circular Saw, a Scroll Saw, a Sawzall, an 18 gauge Airco Nail Gun, and a red and grey Supercycle.

Police are looking for information about a Wheatley break and enter.

On Friday, unknown suspects stole an air compressor from a property on Talbot Trail in Wheatley. Police say the suspects also tried to break into the house, but couldn’t get through the deadbolt lock on the door.

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after building supplies were stolen from a home in Dover Township.

On Friday, police say suspects went into a home under construction on Bernadette St. in Dover Township. According to police, the suspects stole light fixtures, a garage door opener, door handles, and other building supplies.
