Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman with a warrant.
On Saturday, police responded to a call about a woman that was refusing to leave a residence in Ridgetown. Police say the 29-year-old woman quickly left the area before they had a chance to speak with her.
Through investigation, police revealed that the woman had an existing warrant for her arrest. She was quickly located, arrested, and taken to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters to await a bail hearing.
Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for failing to comply with a court order.
On Saturday, police responded to a call of a woman and woman fighting on Queen St. in Chatham. An investigation revealed that the argument was only verbal; however, it was learned that the 30-year-old man was wanted for failing to comply with a court order.
The man was arrested for breaching his court-ordered conditions and taken to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters. He is being held for a bail hearing.
