St. Clair College in Chatham is celebrating its homecoming weekend September 29 to October 1.
The celebration is part of the college's 50th anniversary this year and it's open to the entire community.
Director of Marketing Ann Hetherington says there are a wide variety of activities planned for alumni, friends, students and college staff, including "Solid Gold Saturday Night."
"Dinner, dancing, champagne reception and all for just $39.50, you can't beat that. We know our alumni will be there and we're inviting the entire community to come out to that evening. It'll be a whole bunch of fun reminiscing," says Hetherington.

Hetherington says the Saturday night event starts at 5:30pm and has been in the works for several months.
"It's all happening at our Chatham Campus and we're going to celebrate our new student centre that has been organized and renovated by our student government. They have done a tremendous job and we want to highlight that space," Hetherington says.
Hetherington says Sunday is family fun day from 10am until 2pm.
"Everything for families and children, inflatables, pony rides, wagon rides, face painting, lots of food and we're inviting everybody from the community to come out for that day as well," says Hetherington.
