Provincial police are charging a transport truck driver who rolled a rig over on a Hwy. 401 on ramp near Tilbury.
The OPP say a white International tractor trailer that was loaded with auto parts was on the westbound on ramp to the 401 at Essex County Rd. 42 at around 10am Wednesday, when it flipped onto its side just before entering the highway.
Police had to shut down the on ramp and one lane of the Hwy. 401 while the cleanup took place, but both the on ramp and the lane have since re-opened.
Officers say the driver was the only person inside the truck at the time and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
It's not clear exactly which charge(s) the driver is facing.
