CK Museum Wants To Hear From You

Changes could be coming to the Chatham-Kent Museums, and you could have a say in what those changes will be.

Their 2017 Museum Survey is available now.

"The overall goal is to find out a little bit more about what people in Chatham-Kent want to get out of a museum," says Assistant Curator Kate Rosser-Davies. "And figure how we can go about providing them with that service, and those opportunities to engage with their own local history."

Rosser-Davies says they want to hear from everyone.

"Even if you haven't been to one of the Chatham-Kent Museums, we still want to hear from you. When we say Chatham-Kent Museums, we mean The Chatham-Kent Museum at the Cultural Centre, as well as Milner Heritage House, and Ridge House Museum out in Ridgetown."

The survey has been available for a couple weeks, and so far the response has been good.

"We are trying to get a really broad survey of different people in Chatham-Kent, so that means people from the different settled areas in Chatham-Kent," says and Rosser-Davies. "If you live in Blenheim, you live in Ridgetown, you live in Highgate, we want to hear from you. If you've been to the museum, if you haven't been to the museum, we still want to hear from you."

Everyone who fills out the survey will have a chance to win an Apple iPad. The survey will available until Thursday, August 31.
