Chatham-Kent police have arrested a Windsor woman for impaired driving.

Police say on Friday at around 5pm, they responded to a vehicle that had rolled into a ditch on Coutts Line in Tilbury. The female driver was transported by ambulance to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for non-life threatening injuries.

Though investigation, police believed the woman was under the influence of alcohol and arrested her. Police conducted breath tests that resulted in the 22-year-old Windsor woman being charged with impaired driving.

She was released with a future court date.

A Chatham man has been arrested for breaching the conditions of his probation.

Police say they responded to a disturbance call in the Thamesville area on Friday after a man was overheard saying he was going back in his house to get his shotgun. The man is under conditions that state he cannot be in possession of weapons.

Police say they went to the man’s residence and found a shotgun. The 28-year-old Thamesville man was arrested for breaching his conditions and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.

Police are looking for information about a vehicle stolen from a Wallaceburg residence.

According to police, the vehicle was stolen by unknown suspects sometime between Thursday at 8:30pm and Friday at 2:30am.

The grey 2017 Ford Escape was last seen with Ontario licence plates CCMX 002.
