A Chatham boy has been charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

On Sunday, officers located a 15-year-old Chatham boy who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for breaching the conditions of his release. According to police, the boy was in possession of a significant amount of cash and suspected cocaine.

The boy has been charged with breaching the conditions of his release and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A driver in Chatham has been charged with careless driving after being involved in a collision.

Police say two vehicles were involved in a collision near St. Clair St. and Maple Dr. on Sunday around 2:45pm.

As a result of the collision, one of the drivers was charged with careless driving.

There were no injuries reported by either driver but damage is estimated at $5,000.

Police are seeking information after unknown suspects tried to steal an E-Bike.

According to police, unknown suspects entered a garage on Campus Parkway sometime between 11pm on Saturday and 7:30am on Sunday. The suspects allegedly attempted to steal an E-Bike at the residence.
