Positivity Day in CK is Back

Positivity Day in CK is coming back for a second year.

The details of this year's festivities will be announced at 5pm Wednesday at Sons of Kent in Chatham.

"We're going to be kicking off the 12 Days of Positivity," says co-chair Darrin Canniff. "So we're looking forward to releasing all the details of what we've got planned for the next couple of months. It's going to be an amazing ride."

"We'll kick off starting September 4th and culminate in Positivity Day on the 15th, but we've got a lot of plans for those 12 days," says Canniff. "Chatham-Kent will come together and we'll be amazed at the amount of things we can do here."

Canniff says one of the things we need most in Chatham-Kent is positivity.

"It's a personal choice to decide whether you're going to look at something positively or negatively. Each and every day we made hundreds of personal choices along that line," says Canniff. "We're hoping that with Positivity Day, we can start moving that scale over so people are making choices more often and think positive rather than negative."

The event at Sons of Kent is open to the public and gets underway at 5pm Wednesday.
