Blenheim Car Show Expanding

The Blenheim Classics Auto Shows is growing this year.

Thirty more spots have been added to the seventh annual show on Saturday, so over 150 classic cars will be on display.

"It's for 1988 and older unmodified vehicles, and basically that is because of the spot allotage we have," says organizer John Ceccacci. "We do have approximately 170 spots."

The cruise kicks off the weekend on Friday night at 6pm.

"Starting at the Glad Tiding Church, we've dubbed this the Lakeside Cruise," says Ceccacci. "From Blenheim it takes in Erie Beach, Erieau, and a nice cruise along the lakeside and back up to Blenheim again."

Ceccacci says the event brings thousand to downtown Blenheim.

"Last year we had approximately 3,500 to 4,000 people come out, so it's quite a boost for the town of Blenheim," he says. "If you haven't been to downtown Blenheim, it's a great town to come, and a perfect venue for displaying these beautiful classic cars."
