Heat Warning Issued for CK and Windsor

It may be a good idea to spend your Saturday indoors with yet another heat warning issued for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.

A heat warning is issued when temperatures reach 30 degrees Celsius or higher for two consecutive days.

Environment Canada has reported that temperatures in Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex reached 31 degrees Friday and will reach the same temperature on Saturday.

Humidex values are expected to reach as high as 40.

Environment Canada recommends residents be mindful of the warning signs of heat stroke and use tips to stay cool.
