Organizers at this year's Kinsmen Fair in Chatham saw higher attendance than ever.
"We don't know exact numbers as of yet, we'll know that after the fair is done, but we've noticed a slight increase of attendance just by looking around at the crowd numbers," explains organizer Stacey Gore.
Gore says the higher numbers make sense with this year's free admission.
"In lieu of the 150th anniversary of Canada we wanted to do our part by offering this free admission for everyone to come out and take part in the fair this year," says Gore.
Some of the attractions at the fair include midway rides, fair food, and vendors.
