Chatham-Kent bus riders may soon be eligible for a cheaper pass.
Council unanimously approved the motion 18-0 to introduce the CKTransit Affordable Bus Pass Program during Monday night's meeting.
The new affordable pass will cost each rider $40 per month. Currently, adult passes cost $65 per month.
Bus riders will be eligible for the lowered rate depending on income.
