Pie Shells Recalled (GALLERY)

It's time to check your pantry -- various brands of pie and tart shells are being recalled because of E. coli concerns.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says Edmonton-based Harlan Bakeries is recalling several brands of the shells that were sold across Canada under brands including No Name, Great Value, Western Family, and Apple Valley.

All of the affected products have best before dates ranging from November 24 to December 21.

You can find the full list of recalled products by clicking here. You can also find pictures of the affected products in the gallery below.

The latest recall is related to a national recall issued earlier this month by the CFIA involving E. coli concerns in several brands of flour and flour products.

There have been reported illnesses associated with the flour, but at this point, there have not been any confirmed illnesses associated with the pie or tart shells.

The CFIA is encouraging anyone who thinks they may have become sick from consuming a recalled product to call their doctor. Symptoms of E.coli infection can include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, fever, and diarrhea.
