Calls, Arrests & Seizures Are Down At CK Crime Stoppers

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers keeps rolling but last year's numbers are down from 2015.

Calls are down from 680 in 2015 to 647 last year.

There were 87 arrests last year, which is a decline from 139 in 2015.

Charges laid decreased from 777 in 2015 to 249 last year.

Forty five weapons were recovered last year compared to 78 the previous year.

Crime Stoppers seized or recovered almost $2.1 million dollars worth of drugs and property last year, which is a drop of $800,000 from 2015.
