A Chatham institution received some attention lately because of its Hawaiian Pizza.
The restaurant, which was the first to serve pineapple on pizza back in 1962, has been in the spotlight since the President of Iceland sparked a debate when he said pineapple on pizza should be outlawed.
That controversy even drew a visit from Kevin Frankish from Breakfast Television in Toronto. He recently made the trip to Chatham to try Satellite Restaurant's Hawaiian Pizza.

Satellite Restaurant Manager Bonnie Larsen says it was cool to have a celebrity visit the restaurant.
"He wanted to see how it was made and what we did... he had a piece and took the rest with him," says Larsen.
Larsen says the restaurant saw a bit of a boost in sales after it was mentioned on the Breakfast Television segment.
Larsen says sometimes it's nice to get the attention adding it's the first time something like this has happened to her.
