A Chatham man involved in a tractor accident Monday afternoon has died.
Chatham-Kent Police Chief Gary Conn has confirmed the man has succumbed to his injuries.
The injured man was sent to the Hamilton Burn Unit after a tractor flipped on top of him and caught fire at a property on Grand Ave. E.
Police say the man was using the tractor to remove an old pole from the ground when it flipped on top of him and started leaking gasoline.
The gas then caught fire when it reached the hot engine.
