The Blenheim water tower is getting a face lift.
The Chatham-Kent Public Utilities Commission has decided to re-coat the inside as well as the outside, and repaint it.
The price tag for the renovations is $1.7-million.
The tower was built in 1999.
Work should be completed by the end of July.

The Ridgetown and Highgate areas are eventually getting a new water system.
The Chatham-Kent Public Utilities Commission has voted to dig another water well and engineering work is currently being done at a cost of almost $500,000.
Construction work is expected to take place in the second phase.
