Several contractors from Chatham-Kent and surrounding areas are now equipped with the latest knowledge in tools and equipment.
Home Hardware’s Pro Contractor Tradeshow was held at the Convention Centre Tuesday afternoon where several booths lined the room.
"Now that we have a decent facility, we're very honoured to get it because we like to have our contractors attend," says Mike Arens, co-owner of Chatham-Kent's Home Hardware.
He says approximately 100-200 contractors from Chatham's facility had been interested in the tradeshow.
The tradeshow showcased several tools coming out this year, giving contractors the opportunity to speak with the vendors directly.
Whether or not the new products featured at the tradeshow will make it to Chatham's shelves is still unknown.
"Home will endorse a lot of the products, some of it is maybe going to be on a special order depending on how popular the item is," says Arens.
Chatham is one of seven stops for this year's tradeshow.
