Toy Show & Sale Today

After 16 years, the Chatham-Kent Toy Show and Sale continues to grow.

Organizer Carl Sterling says they're expecting over 15-hundred people.

"It keeps growing every year. There's people that say 'Ah I've never been, well this time I'm going.' We're attracting people from Michigan and from as far in to Ontario as Toronto."

Co-organizer Rob Sterling says there's a variety of things on display.

"There's everything from kids play toys, to very collectable items. Coins, dolls, cars, there's a real variety, I think something unique for everyone."

There are also two areas for kids to play, including one that's run by the Home Depot.

The show runs from 10am until 3pm today at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre.

Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for students, and children six and under are free. Proceeds from the show go to Outreach for Hunger, the 4-H Farm Toy Club, and Essex-Kent Junior Farmers.
