Water Well Meeting Wednesday Night

A public meeting is being held Wednesday night to address dirty well water in Dover Centre.

Residents will go over a public survey and develop a complaints strategy to force action by the Ministry of Environment.

Several residents on Marsh Line say the pile driving and vibration from nearby wind turbines is disturbing their wells and contaminating their drinking water with black sludge.

Marsh Line resident Kevin Jakubec says public health is at risk even though no illness has been reported.

Jakubec compares the situation to fracking and adds contamination will be proven next month by his own hydrogeologists.
