Sarfati Meshing With Maroons Early

Chatham Maroons Forward Ethan Sarfati seems to be making a good first impression with his new team.

The Macomb, Michigan native has two goals in his first two games with the team. He was acquired from the Lambton Shores Predators earlier this month, and made his debut Saturday following a five-game suspension.

"All the guys have been great so far, it's been really easy to adjust," says Sarfati. "I already feel like I'm [one] of the boys, so I'm really excited to be here."

Before joining Chatham, Sarfati had 15 G and 22 A in 26 games with the Predators. But he says he can play at both ends of the ice.

"I try and be solid offensively, try and contribute," says Sarfati. "But I try to take care of both sides of the ice and just play hard."

The Chatham Maroons square off against the Leamington Flyers Thursday. Puck drop is set for 7:10pm.
