An air quality statement has been issued for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
The statement has been released by Environment Canada and the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change due to the possible high levels of pollution expected for today.
The report says the hot weather could cause an increase in the ground-level ozone concentrations.
People may experience coughing, throat irritation head aches or trouble breathing.
