It was a busy long weekend for OPP, as officers caught three motorists going over 150km/h on Hwy. 401.
On Saturday police stopped a black Land Rover travelling WB on the highway, after clocking it going 160km/h. A 60-year-old Toronto man was charged with racing a motor vehicle.
Then on Sunday two separate motorists were stopped for allegedly speeding. Around 2:30pm OPP caught a silver Chrysler 200 going 152km/h, and later that night a black Mitsubishi was caught travelling 151km/h. As a result a 61-year-old Brampton woman and 21-year-old Windsor man were separately charged.
OPP also conducted nine R.I.D.E. programs throughout Chatham-Kent last weekend.
