UPDATE: WB 401 Reopens After Tractor Trailer Crashes

Police have fully reopened the WB 401 after a pair of crashes on the highway near Tilbury.

The WB lanes of the highway were completely closed around County Rd. 42 after a tractor trailer fell into the ditch at 10am Friday morning.

Officers say the man driving the transport truck was pulled out of the vehicle and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

About an hour after that collision, police say another tractor trailer crashed on the westbound 401, this time near Queens Line.

Once again, the male driver had to be pulled out of the vehicle and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
