Damage is pegged at $80,000 following a suspicious fire in Cedar Springs.
Emergency crews were called to 19316 Charing Cross Rd. around 2:30am.
Seven of the eight units in the building were occupied and evacuated as the fire department extinguished the blaze.
Fire officials say the fire was contained to a single unit.
The cause remains under investigation and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in.
