Sharks Look To Bite Back Against Admirals

After being outscored 14-1 in their first two playoff games, the Wheatley Sharks look to get back into their seven-game series with the Admirals in Amherstburg tonight.

Sharks head coach Dave Wiper says they need a good start to gain some confidence.

"The games weren't as lopsided as what the scores indicated," says Wiper. "We had some breakdowns... like we had a 35-second stretch where they (Amherstburg) scored 3 goals on us last night and that pretty much dictated the game. We have 12 players, and I'm not making excuses, but they're all playing their first year of junior hockey so they're experiencing a level of compete (in the playoffs) that they haven't seen in the regular season."

In other Jr. C playoff action tonight, Essex looks to go up 3-0 in its first-round series with Alvinston, while Mooretown hopes to even its series at 1-1 with Lakeshore.
