Doctor Opting For Small Town Feel

A local doctor, who went State-side for school, is moving back to Leamington to open his orthodontic practice.

While many doctors may be drawn to bigger centres, Dr. Max Abraham says that's not for him.

"I found it very hard to replace that small town feel, where your impact is a little bit stronger," he says. "You feel like the community is a little more integrated together, not only with myself and patients, but with staff as well."

Abraham thinks the town's done a great job in bouncing back from the loss of Heinz, saying that he can see a lot of the behind the scenes work starting to pay off.

The orthodontic clinic is expected to open on Erie St.t this February or March.

Abraham got his undergraduate degree at Western University in London, and then moved to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University for grad school.
