Pick-Up Trucks Still Being Targeted

The rash of stolen pick-up trucks in the Wallaceburg area over the last couple of months continues.

Chatham-Kent police say three pick-ups were stolen sometime between Monday night and early yesterday morning.

The vehicles are described as; a 1998 truck at a Nelson St. residence with Ontario licence plates 158 9NY; a black 2000 GMC truck at a residence on University Ave. with Ontario plates AF83 599; a locked green 1998 Chevrolet truck on Reaume St. with Ontario plates AA35 679.

In the wake of all the truck thefts police are asking area residents to give them a call when they notice suspicious individuals activity or hear strange noises at night. Police are also reminding individuals to keep their vehicles locked, and to refrain from leaving their keys in vehicles.
