The Essex 73's look to extend their winning streak to four when they host the Wheatley Omstead Sharks.
73's head coach Gil Langlois expects a close game from the Sharks.
"They took Amherstburg to overtime last night," says Langlois. "So I think the biggest thing that we're going to be preaching to our players is to thrown out the game at the beginning of the year and treat this team with the respect they deserve."
"They've got a lot of new faces in the lineup, but they're very well coached," says Langlois of Wheatley. "If the first game against them is any indication, they're going to come at us hard, they're going to fore check hard. They're a team that works really hard, I mean they're going to try and outwork us."
Puck drop is set for 7pm in Essex.
