Goodfellows Just Around The Corner

Just a few days ago the weather seemed like summer but already the Chatham Goodfellows are planning their 61st No Child Without A Christmas Campaign.

Board member Tim Mifflin says they are putting together the details now and will begin next month.

"Our Annual General Meeting is going to be Thursday, November 5 and that really is the official kick-off for the Goodfellows season, it really isn't that far off at all," he says. "Chatham-Kent is very interesting, the folks want to work and they will work but often times there are incidents of the working poor and those are people we help out, of course there are those that need assistance."

The Goodfellows Office will open shortly November 9 and the organization will start taking names of people needing food and toy baskets.
