Agribusiness Drives Company Growth

An engineering services and millwright company that has just about doubled the number of employees over the past year is being recognized by the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce.

B. D. M. Millwrights president Jim Waters says the company makes a wide range of equipment.

"We do anything that has to with agribusiness, so grain elevators, ethanol plants, animal food plants, pet food plants, flour mills, fertilizer, any of that stuff," he says. "We've hired approximately 25 people in the past year, sales continue to be strong growth is strong and we hope to continue in that trend."

BDM has relocated from Blenheim to a larger manufacturing facility on Grand Ave. E in Chatham and is renovating the offices to complete the move later in the year.
