OLG Payouts For First Quarter

This region is receiving a large kickback for hosting OLG gaming centres.

Windsor is getting a $3.2-million first-quarter payment for having Caesars Windsor in town. So far the city has received more than $21-million in non-tax gaming revenue.

Meanwhile Chatham-Kent is set to receive $187,290 for having slots at Dresden Raceway. The municipality has received $8.9-million to date.

The money is slated to be used for local priorities and infrastructure projects.
