Union Gas is looking to expand its services to meet the needs of outlying areas.
The company's sent an application to the Ontario Energy Board that would see services extended to 30 new rural and First Nations communities.
These would include Walpole Island First Nation and Delaware Nation at Moraviantown.
The Ontario Government said it would be committing over $200-million towards natural gas expansion during budget deliberations this year.
