Beer Bottle Assault At Threshing Festival

A man has turned himself in to police after an alleged assault with a beer bottle at the Thamesville Threshing Festival.

Police were called to a disturbance in the beer tent on Saturday where a man suffered serious injuries after he was allegedly hit in the face with a beer bottle. Investigators say the victim, a 25-year-old Dresden man, required stitches and will undergo further testing and treatment for possible bone fractures around the eye.

Yesterday, a 20-year-old Dresden man turned himself in, was charged with aggravated assault, and was released with a future court date.
