DNA Leads To Break-in Charges

A DNA sample has led investigators to a suspect after break-in at a Chatham business.

Police were called to Gentry Manor on Park St. on March 14 after the front door was smashed around 6am. A small amount of cash was taken.

Officials at the Centre of Forensic Sciences used evidence collected at the scene to find a match.

A 56-year-old man was arrested this morning on St. Clair St. in Chatham. He'll be released with a future court date.
