Don't Travel For Passport Help

Chatham-Kent-Essex MP Dave Van Kesteren is once again holding a number of passport clinics in his riding.

Residents can attend one of six sessions throughout the year, where volunteers and staff will walk them through the passport application process. This is partially to keep the public from travelling to Windsor or London to get passport help.

Van Kesteren says this helps minimize mistakes that could be made if residents completed the apps on their own. "If you don't realize the mistake or you don't read it properly, you could send everything in. Then two weeks later, it's back in your mailbox and you have no idea what's going on."

The next passport clinic will be held at the Leamington Kinsmen Recreational Complex Gym. It goes Wednesday May 20 at 10am.
