Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for much of southern Ontario as thunderstorms could move into the region Thursday afternoon.
A low pressure trough associated with a system in the north will move eastward through southwestern Ontario during the afternoon hours on Thursday. A few thunderstorms are likely along the west of this trough.
While thunderstorms aren't expected to be severe, it could create localized rainfall up to 25 mm in a short period of time.
