Environment Canada has ended a freezing rain warning for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.
Snow mixed with ice pellets developed early this morning over extreme southwestern Ontario and reached the Golden Horseshoe near midday. The snow changed to freezing rain near midday in the southwest.
Light rain or drizzle is expected tonight as temperatures nudge above the freezing mark.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to take extra care when walking or driving.
