Chatham-Kent police have made an arrest after a shoplifting incident at Walmart.
When police approached a woman for shoplifting, she claimed her boyfriend threatened to assault her if she didn't steal various items for him.
Police eventually figured out that this was not true.
A 23-year-old woman has now been charged with shoplifting, possession and public mischief. She has been released with a future court date.
