Two Cars Impounded

A 46-year-old Chatham man is without a car for the next seven days.

Last night, an officer pulled over a vehicle on Lacrorix St. and discovered the driver was serving two licence suspensions, one for failing to pay family support, and another for unpaid fines. He has been charged with two counts of driving while under suspension.

Meanwhile, another officer stopped a vehicle on St. Clair St. early this morning and learned the driver was suspended for unpaid fines, demerit points, and he did not have proof of insurance.

The 33-year-old is facing numerous charges and his vehicle was also impounded for seven days.
