Lev Tahor boys on recess in Chatham.
Nine members of Lev Tahor have been detained at an airport in Trinidad and Tobago.
An Immigration official has confirmed to BlackburnNews.com that three adults and six children took a West Jet flight from Toronto on Monday.
They told immigration officials they were on their way to Mexico and were denied entry. The group refused to get back on a plane to Canada. The official says the group is being detained in a private room at the airport and he expects they’ll be sent back to Canada by Friday.

Why would you flee if you were not guilty? Guess Rabbi Shlomo Erez Helbrans was correct in his statement that he made last week when he admitted that they might not be staying in Chatham, Ontario Canada. that they would find a place where they could live and abide by their own rules and laws. (Live their way)

Negligence! History of fleeing! Hello judge, you are neglect of not acquiring their passports! You are responsible for what happens to these children for being so nieve and ignorant! Praying for the children who have not been protected on this even after proven abuse. Shame on Canada and Ontario!

Janet, Just wondering where it has been proven abuse in this case?? The Ontario judge made a ruling on custody, and the Quebec judge clearly states that there is no finding of abuse or neglect that they wanted physical and psychological assessments done. Never have any of these children been found to be abused.

@Sandy Blackshaw: According to the Toronto Star they have wealthy supporters in Israel who send money to the leader. The rest of the group claims poverty and gets social assistance. They are not particularly good at paying their bills or property taxes either apparently. The Star has done some great investigative reporting on this group, their finances, and their sketchy background.
