The entire community of Chatham-Kent is remembering the men and women who have fought for our freedoms.

There are eight different Remembrance Day parades and services across the municipality in Chatham, Ridgetown, Merlin, Wheatley, Blenheim, Tilbury, Erieau and Dresden.

Most events begin at the towns respective legions and end back in the same location, causing closures throughout each area between 9:30am and 1:00pm. The event in Dresden starts at Rotary Park, then proceeds to the Cenotaph and concludes back at the park. In Erieau the parade starts on Mariners Rd. then travels east to Veterans Memorial Garden.

In Chatham the staging will be at Tecumseh Park then travel down King St. to the Cenotaph on Sixth St. for service. It will end back at the Legion on William St. North. Street closures in Chatham will only be between 10:30am and 11:30am.
