Margaret Trudeau is preparing for another round of Trudeau-mania as her son Justin sets out for the federal Liberal leadership.

She says the biggest challenge is getting her son not to buy-in to his own hype. “I’ve been used to everyone swooning over Justin all his life, he’s quite cute and he’s lovely. I have to make sure he doesn’t get swept off his feet and start believing his own press because that’s very exciting to gather people’s hearts and minds the way someone like he can.”

She says Justin shares the same belief in a just society as his father, former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.
