A move by the Liberal government to freeze wages for CEOs at hospitals, universities and across the public sector is welcomed by Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak.
“We’ve been calling for a wage freeze for some time and that’s across the board for everybody, no special favourites, no special deals. We finally got Dalton McGuinty saying the words wage and freeze in the same sentence, I take that as a good thing,” says Hudak. “There’s a lot of families here in southwestern Ontario who’ve lost work, who have had cutbacks in their own pay. We in government need to do our share of the sacrifice as well.”
He says he wishes a wage freeze would’ve come sooner, but he’s glad the Liberals are listening.

Not even close Tim. What I have read shows that these CEO and executives will still get paid at lease what they got last year! That means all the bonuses handed out last year can and WILL be paid out again this year and next year! This has to stop! Cap salaries where they are and NO BONUSES for these people. They get paid very well to do their job as it is!
