For the 4th consecutive month, home sales in Chatham-Kent took a dip.
There were 98 properties sold last month, down 9% from August 2011.
Officials with the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors say demand over the summer has been quiet, compared to a strong start to the year.
The average price of homes sold in August was $150,951, up 15% from the same time a year ago.
